correct. Something had to be done about China's unfair practices. For that I commend Donald Trump. That's Phase 1. Trump spoke up publically.

Here's the issue: Trump has no plan and making it worse. It's not even a question of alienating our allies. We need their support to squeeze China economically. What's their incentive? Trump is blasting his allies for concessions economically ... and then weighing another major economic battle with China while also pissing off South Korea and Japan. Some wise man once said, "never start a land war in Asia." Why the hell is Trump starting 2 econimc wars on 2 very different fronts?

To be blunt, Trump's done exactly what Putin hoped. He's beginning to isolate us economically. NATO allies are mocking the US. Other allies don't trust the US as much after the sudden pullout of Syria.

That is worse than the status quo. Now Trump spews he won't settle the trade war until after the election. You think China believes any of that crap? Trump is desperate to win the election. Who do you think has the leverage while Ivanka continues to negotiate personal deals in China?

Trump is incompetent. That's my issue. He's not negotiating in a position of power. Trump is negotiating from a position of weakness.
